Food Pantry Coordinator at Grace Episcopal Church (Downtown Madison)

WANTED: Someone with the gift of hospitality, passion for service to others, and a heartfelt concern for those who would go hungry without assistance.

Grace Episcopal Church on the downtown Madison concourse is seeking a qualified individual to direct their outreach ministry to the food-insecure people who come to her doors. The Grace Church Food Pantry was founded in 1979 as an effective way to share Christ’s love, by meeting an ongoing community need – offering access to good, healthy food and essential personal care products to those in need of them. It regularly serves over 1000 people (400 families) per month.

This position of Food Pantry Coordinator is part time (18 hours per week), with compensation at $16-$18 per hour, based upon experience and education. Includes free parking at the church.

The pantry operates Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons from 1 pm – 3 pm, and Saturdays from 10 am – noon. The Personal Essentials Pantry is open first and third Saturdays from 10 am – noon.
