Banquet Server Part Time or On-Call (Grove Hotel)

Candidates must be able to work in a cooperative spirit along with an existing group of dynamic staff members. We are looking for candidates who, in addition to having serving experience in a banquet setting, are committed to customer service and gracious hospitality.

We are looking for "Part Time" and/or "On-Call" for large events requiring extra servers.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ability to carry a tray of capped plates of food in a proper manner at the shoulder level.

Servers are responsible to serve food and beverage in a catered atmosphere.

Must be able to become TIPS certified within 60 days of employment (class offered on property at no cost).

Set up and take down of events required that includes tables and chairs. Must be able to bend, twist, reach, stand, lift, walk, grasp, and listen the entire shift.

Must participate in keeping the facility clean and properly maintained.

Ability to deal professionally, courteously, and tactfully with the public and co-workers.
