Midwest Custom Pools based in Lawrence KS is taking applications for a construction Foreman to build swimming pools and water features. We specialize in "high end" concrete and fiberglass pool projects. We work on both residential and commercial job sites.
A Valid DL is required, a CDL is preferred
You must be able to run a "bobcat type loader, mini excavator, as well as be able to safely transport that equipment to and from the job.
Experience with excavation, forming, rebar, plumbing, electrical, concrete and job site safety is required. Pool construction experience would also be nice!
A "get it done attitude" is required.
You will be required be accountable for your work and the work of those you supervise
You will be required to be a problem solver and innovator every day.
You will be required to read a plan, and layout the project from those plans.
You will be required to document the work you do daily.
You will be required to be available to work as you are scheduled and provide adequate notice when you are unable to do so.
You will required to plan the job to make sure materials and equipment are available before you need them.
You will be provided with quality tools and equipment to deliver a quality project.
You will be provided with a truck to get you and the tools to the job. Most of the time you will be going directly from your home to the job.
You will be required to be the "Adult on the Job"
You will be required to work overtime as necessary to meet deadlines
Most work in in the KC ,Lawrence and Topeka areas. We provide a competitive hourly wage, performance bonus, Health insurance, and paid holidays for full time employees.
