Description: This position is for a Cyber Security Engineering (CSE) Air System Cyber Architect. As the CSE Air System Cyber Architect, you will provide support across Cyber Security Engineering (CSE) team and the various AERO air systems including F-35, IFG, AMMM and ADP portfolios ensuring systems are designed, developed, sustained, and documented to support required cyber security efforts and strategic initiatives. In addition, this position will support missions conducted in the Aeronautics Cyber Range and perform technology evaluations.Responsibilities include supporting developing and managing cyber security requirements and strategic roadmaps, ensuring they are properly defined, decomposed, and allocated and that the solution will satisfy applicable Government regulations. This includes conducting working groups, design reviews, and formal artifact reviews with internal and external customers driving enhanced cyber resiliency change. Additional responsibilities will include multifaceted project support for timely delivery and support of documentation and coordinating approvals to achieve Program Milestones.This position works in close coordination with Cyber Security Engineering Cyberworks, the F-35, IFG, AMMM and ADP associated program offices, Air Vehicle, Development, Ground System, ALIS, JRE and Training IPTs, as well as internal LM Aero IPTs throughout the complete lifecycle for Air System boundaries. This includes strategy and execution for new architecture, design, development, and integration of new architectural features maintaining the integrity and security of systems and networks.Summary of responsibilities include but are not limited to:Lead technical Cyber Security strategic planning of current and future Air System configurations and architectures.Oversight of development and/or review of architectural security designs to ensure compliance to standards and processes.CRE related Project Management Oversight and resource planning.Support Development and execution of schedules for all on-going efforts for given boundaries.Support Development of Basis of Estimate for proposals as well as Earned Value oversight for given boundaries.Support collection, development, and delivery of the necessary artifacts to ensure Authority to Operate (ATO) is obtained as required to meet Program Milestones.Must be a US citizen. This position requires special access and a Secret clearance updated within the last 6 years to be considered.Basic Qualifications: Master’s Degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited institution or equivalent/educational experience. Experience as a Cyber Security Architect Experience developing and implementing Cyber technology roadmaps Experience with implementing and validating compliance of IA/Cybersecurity policies. Experience analyzing, decomposing and allocating security controls into executable security requirements at the system/sub-system and component level. Experience leading and performing Cyber Security Risk Analysis and Assessments on a complex heterogeneous system. Experience with creating and presenting technical information to senior-level executives and customers. Project Management experience, including experience managing cost and schedule. Experience developing and executing tactical objectives from strategic guidance.Desired Skills: Demonstrated strategic thinker and implementer. Experience with operating systems for embedded Real-Time environments typically used in avionics and aircraft systems (not Mobile or IoT). Experience with Cyber Resiliency Level™ (CRL) and associated system evaluations. Familiarity with Secure Software Design and Architecture. Strong analytical and organizational skills with excellent communication skills (written and verbal communications) and the ability to work in a dynamic work environment. Experience with EVMS principles, measuring program performance and metrics. Experience with securely configuring and hardening Linux based operating systems. Experience with development and employment of DoD requirements, policies and processes as part of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process. Demonstrated experience with two or more of the following standards/guides: RMF, JSIG, CNSSI-1253, Common Criteria, NSTISSIP 11, DoD8500.1, DoD8500.2, JAFAN 6/3, DITSCAP, DIACAP. Must be willing to mentor junior-level team members. Current F-35 SAP/SAR clearances (with a Secret investigation within the last 5 years).
