Grundfos is seeking a Sr. Product Application Specialist to support our submersible turbine product range growth in the Americas with a cross functional role that collaborates with sales, operation, service and engineering. This position requires deep application specific knowledge and detailed technical understanding of submersible turbine pump and motor design. This person will have a critical role as the primary resource for sales training, development projects, quality and service. The Sr. Product Application Specialist role will be based out of ourBrookshire, TXoffice reporting to the Director, Business Development-Water Utility and travel up to 50% to support business needs. We will support the USA relocation for this position. However, we are not able to offer sponsorship support for this role. All candidates must have authorization to work in the USA.Focused Activities:Provide product and application support to the sales and service companies.Support the Groundwater sales team on troubleshooting difficult customer installations.Support the Service team with product analysis and training for returned products under warranty or similar concerns.Key responsible for maintaining submersible application knowledge within the Americas regional sales force and key customers.Share in the responsibility with submersible engineering on product documentation and design changes.Develop and deliver application training within the Americas region.Represent Grundfos at seminars, fairs and customers events concerning submersible applications.Gather regional market application knowledge, trends and outlook to support the Americas sales functions.Provide regional input on customer needs and application requirements from the market to frontloading activities and development projects.Required Education and Experience:Qualified candidates possess a Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or technical related field and must have technical background with 5 years of experience in groundwater or related applications.Minimum 5 years track record in sales, service, product management or engineering position in a manufacturing or development environment.Advanced technical and application of submersibles pump product background or a strong background within the groundwater business is required.Experience with design, troubleshooting and training others with submersible pumps and related products is required.Possess strong communication and presentation skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels within a corporate environment.Experience working in a Americas regional or global organization is highly preferred.Experience developing application related literature that support sales initiatives.Must be willing and able to travel 40-50%. Most of the travel will be within USA and Mexico. There will be some travel to EMEA for various trainings and business meetings.
