Candidates must be customer service oriented, energetic, willing to learn and have 13-24 months SQL skills.

Work Hours: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm; Monday - Friday; 1-hour lunch

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

This position will provide technical work for the development and maintenance of the PLCB's Oracle Retail and Financial ERP application systems.

This position is responsible for the analysis, design, planning, development, testing, maintenance, and documentation of significant components of the PLCB's ERP system. Work includes applications development and maintenance responsibility for:

Oracle Retail Management Systems (RMS)

Oracle Retail Pricing Management (RPM)

Oracle Store Inventory Management (SIM)

Oracle EBS Order Management (OM)

Oracle Portals such as: Supplier Portal (including new item introduction, special order portal, special purchase allowance and online ordering portal (LOOP)

Appworx / One Automation interface run instructions and interface monitoring

Responsible for developing detailed functional specifications for system customizations, modifications, or workflow development based on business requirements. Writes code for PL/SQL update statements, modules and programs as required.

Provides level technical leadership to business owners regarding the highly complex Oracle system and other applications supported with guidance when needed from the BA4. Analyzes, designs, constructs and tests programs for use in the Oracle systems.

Develops, executes, and documents unit, integration and user acceptance test scenarios and scripts as necessary (sometimes in conjunction with the technical operations team members). Evaluates requests for system customization and determines if standard Oracle solutions are appropriate in lieu of custom development. Discusses findings with BA4 for concurrence. Analyzes business requirements to determine appropriate system solutions.

Provides technical solutions to business owner requirements based on best system design practices.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY:

Qualifications:

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as an Information Technology Generalist 1, Applications Developer 1, or Network Specialist 1; or two years of information technology experience that includes one year of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, or other information technology support/administration services, and an associate's degree in any information technology field; or four years of information technology experience that includes one year of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, or other information technology support/administration services; or a bachelor's degree in any information technology field; or an equivalent combination of experience and training.

This position also requires a minimum of 13 months of full-time experience working with SQL.
