Project Estimator

Project Estimator with experience in structural steel, sheet metal, and custom fabrication needed for steel fabrication shop located in Goose Creek, SC.

Duties and responsibilities would include but not be limited to the following:

- Contact various businesses and attempt to sell them on using our services.

- Identify factors affecting costs, such as production time, materials, and labor.

- Read blueprints and technical documents in order to prepare estimates.

- Collaborate with the General Manager, Field Foreman, Shop Foreman, clients, and contractors.

- Calculate, analyze and adjust estimates.

- Recommend ways to reduce costs.

Requirements and qualifications:

- Minimum 3 years in some form of project estimation.

- Minimum 1 year working with structural steel.

- Experience in sales preferred but not required.
