Remote Journeyman Plumber (North Slope/Prudhoe Bay)

Summary: The Remote Journeyman Plumber maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, installs, remodels, or constructs commercial plumbing systems, various piping systems, hydronic heating systems, various air handling systems, furnaces, envirovac toilet units, various pumps, and plumbing equipment and systems used in wastewater and water treatment plants. All duties are to be performed in accordance with NMS’ mission, vision, and values.

Qualifications:

- Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent.

- Must have completed a formal training program relating to the plumbing industry.

- Must have at least five years of verifiable commercial plumbing experience which demonstrated knowledge of water distribution systems, wastewater systems, gas distribution systems, pressure devices, gas fired heating systems and furnace appliances, appliances used in commercial kitchens, laundries, and boiler rooms, and the state plumbing codes.

- Must be licensed to work as a Journeyman Plumber in the State of Alaska.
