CNC Press Brake Operator (Lakeland)

Title: CNC Press Brake Machine Operator

Shift: 1st & 2nd

Job purpose:

Sets up and operates press brakes in accordance with prepared drawings. Reads and interprets drawings and diagrams to set up and operate machinery for precise desired results.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

Set-up and operation of Accurpress, Safan, Trumpf and other Press Brakes.

Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications.

Operate machinery to produce items as instructed by the manager.

Responsible for inspecting quality of finished items.

Operate within standard operating procedures and safety requirements.

Operate forklift(s).

Inform manager when machines are in need of repair.

Clean and maintain work area.

Qualifications:

Experience working with sheet metal.

The ability to use mathematics to calculate bends read and interpret prepared drawings and use precision measuring equipment is required.

Prior experience setting up and operating CNC Press Brakes is required.

1 - 3 years experience preferred.

Ability to stand for long periods of time, ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
