Position: Senior Project Engineer

Status: Full Time, Salaried (OT Exempt)

Location: Cheyenne, WY

Position Description

Essential Functions:

  • Project Financial Responsibilities

    • Review Pay Applications for adherence to Subcontract values and percentage complete billings

    • Gather information for change orders and present to Project Manager

  • Basic Quantity Take-offs for General Contractor materials

  • Schedule delivery of materials after coordinating with Superintendent and the Project Schedule

  • Project start-up and scheduling

    • Coordinate with job start-up vendors (temp fence, toilet, job trailer, etc.)

    • Assist Superintendent

  • Project Administration, Coordination, and Close-out

    • RFI's, Change Orders, Submittals, punchlist

  • Maintain and enforce safety programs and procedures

  • Take meeting minutes for subcontractor meetings

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering preferred

  • Minimum 4 years of commercial/multifamily Construction Project Manager experience working for General Contractor

  • Profieciency using a computer and company communication tools such as email, internet, and Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, excel, Outlook, Google Suite)

Physical Characteristics: The position requires the following:

  • Estimated 20-80% travel from place of residence to job sites. Travel schedule will need to be determined at a later date and is flexible.

  • 50% of time spent on job site

  • 50% of time on required documentation and payment requests

  • 50lbs of lifting

Pay and Benefits:

  • Schedule: Full-time

  • Pay scale: $50K-$65K Salary per year DOE plus project performance bonus program.

  • Benefits: Health and supplemental insurance, Company-paid Life and AD&D insurance with optional voluntary coverage, 401K company match, and accrued paid time off
