We have been designing the best dental practices across the nation for over 25 years. Our design team has an opening. To qualify, you need to be a great designer, familiar with the rigors of commercial construction, understand the importance of deadlines, thrive in a team-environment, and be comfortable speaking directly to clients.

We’ll teach you our philosophies and how to interact with clients, but you need to walk in with rock solid abilities in REVIT and AutoCAD, and a strong working knowledge of the construction process.

Here are some of the things you’ll be responsible for on a typical project:

Interaction with Project Team, including Clients and Consultants

o Interpret architectural, engineering or construction drawings

o Accurate documentation of existing conditions in the field

Create architectural designs based on customer input and feedback

o Programming / Schematic Design

o Ideate quickly through verbal communication, hand sketches and 3D models

o Design Development

o Production of digital models / renderings

o Preparation of presentations and project documentation

o Adjust designs & project scope to meet the changing needs of clients

o Produce plans, sections, elevations, and details to convey architectural design and construction information

Compile drawings for approval, production and distribution

o Construction Documents

Construction Administration

o Coordinate/communicate with architects/engineers/designers

o Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures, and draft technical details

o Communicate with contractors and construction workers to implement designs

o Identify and communicate design discrepancies and making appropriate modifications

o Occasional travel to project sites throughout the country

Adhere to all industry standards in design

o Knowledge of IBC and ADA Code

Position Requirements:

Thorough knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, MS Office Suite

3-5 years’ design experience working at an architectural or design firm

Understanding of commercial building design, systems and construction methods

Exceptional communication, time management and organizational skills

Ability to Manage and track multiple design projects accurately

The Strongest Candidates will possess:

A strong technical background in a variety of different building materials

A familiarity with Construction Documents

The ability to work independently in a self-directed manner within a team context

A willingness to learn and develop new skill sets

A knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, 3ds Max, AGI32, Sketchup, Bluebeam, and virtual reality products is a plus

Benefits:

Schedule: 5 day, 40-hour work week, Monday – Friday
