Frustrated family-owned OTR end dump carrier looking for drivers (Ottawa, KS)

Our company, Bones Transportation Inc., is looking to fill two open trucks. We have a fleet of 14 company trucks that are late model and we take good care of our equipment. We are a family-owned and operated company. I work with one of my brothers, my two sisters, my daughter, one niece and two nephews. Our drivers can come into our offices and talk to any one of us at any given time.
Drivers don't have to have end dump experience. We can train you. I will say that end dumps are not for everyone. Some drivers can be quite nervous when the trailer is raised and unloading. However, most drivers that have pulled one for a while wouldn't want to pull any other type of trailer.
We operate in approximately 30 states with freight that regularly runs through the St. Joseph area that allows drivers to be home weekends if they choose. We pay our drivers 24% of the truck's gross earnings if they have end dump experience, which equates to an average weekly gross payroll of $1,200. We have health insurance that starts after 60 days of employment, paid vacation, safety bonus and per diem.
We know driving jobs are easy to come by. We also know our company and our type of work is not a good fit for everyone. We're not going to blow smoke and tell you want we think you want to hear, just to get you to come to work for us. We realize there are driving jobs that pay more, but we believe we have things to offer that makes our company different.
Good drivers are hard to find. What we ask most of our drivers is good communication and honesty and we always try to give the same back to our drivers.
