Business Valuation Consultant

BKD’s Forensics and Valuation professionals are experts at handling various valuation issues faced by clients related to compliance purposes, mergers & acquisitions and financial reporting.

Work with multiple business valuation team managers, managing directors, and partners in various BKD locations to:

Prepare business valuation models in Excel.

Apply technical skills needed to research and analyze industry, transactional, and economic information.

Prepare for and participate in management interviews, either onsite or via teleconference.

Draft business valuation reports in Word.

Assist with mathematical testing related to quality control procedures.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required.

Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required

Experience in a professional services firm environment considered a plus.

Good organizational skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage project timelines and work with various individuals

Ability to work independently and with team members located throughout various offices

Strong writing skills for the preparation of client reports and the review of work prepared by others in a timely, concise, and efficient manner.

Limited travel required; primarily related to CPE.
