Wholesale Bakery Production - $12/hr (North Central Austin-Burnet Rd)

Austin Cake Ball is an established, 11 year old locally owned company and we're hiring Wholesale Pastry Production Assistants at our bakeshop on Burnet Road to work with a fun and energetic staff that enjoys what they do. We work on a national scale - if you want customers from Honolulu to Times Square to see your work, this might be for you.

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY - we will train!

We are currently hiring for our Afternoon/Evening shift!

2:30pm - 11:00 pm Monday - Friday

(Weekends are voluntary - overtime available)

We're pretty serious about getting you a set schedule. Outside the holidays, weekend shifts are rare and often voluntary just for folks who want overtime.

What are you going to be doing? HIGH VOLUME production of various baked goods and assorted chocolate covered items. You know the famous chocolate scene from I Love Lucy? Bingo.

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY, but prior experience in a commercial kitchen environment is a plus.

What we ask:

-Be dependable and Arrive on time and ready to work your shift.

-Be physically able to be on your feet most of the day and lift 50lbs

-Work quickly and precisely in a high volume production environment.

-Handle doing things by yourself or in a small team setting.

-Follow directions and be unafraid to questions if something is unclear. We don't bite.

Duties Include:

-Production of cookies working in a team of 8-10, measuring out ingredients, baking, caramel and fudge production.

-Covering neat stuff in chocolate

-Packaging product

-Cleaning and dishwashing

Compensation & Perks:
