Financial Analyst I

Job Requirements::REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

A Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent work experience required.

Minimum of 0 - 2 years of Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience is preferred.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Working PC Skills (Excel PowerPoint Word) a plus.

Hyperion Experience a Plus but not required - SAP Experience a Plus but not required.

Written and Verbal Communication Skills.

Must have the ability to multi-task and prioritize job duties in an organized and efficient manner.

You will contribute to our mission by strong analytics, critical thinking, collaboration and solution driven attitude. In a typical day, you will:

Analyze departmental operating expense results and variances in order to ensure accuracy as well as identify any emerging trends.

Review and provide standard set of reports to Finance Managers and department leaders.

Prepare the annual Budget and quarterly forecasts related to operating expenses. This includes preparing/updating reports making operating expense changes in the financial system and expense variance analysis.

Prepare Journal Entries and Reports for the monthly close process.

Work closely with the financial systems group to develop and implement system based approaches for financial planning and analysis.

Perform other duties as assigned
