We are currently looking for a reliable individual who is available to do vacation rental cleanings for our 2 Vacation Rental condos located in Waikiki.

We will be adding this new cleaner to help do cleanings at our condos along with our other cleaner.

We are looking for a long term cleaner.

We will train you how to clean our condos, how to follow the cleaning system check list we already have established for the order of how to do the cleanings, and how to set everything up nicely for the next Guests.

Cleanings are always scheduled for a minimum 4 hours and 15 minutes cleaning time slot for every cleaning, and may take longer depending on what condition the last Guests leave the condos. We always have at least 6 hours in between the last Guests checking out and the next Guests checking in so there is always more than enough time to complete the cleanings.

Cleanings are typically scheduled from 9:45 am to 3:00 pm, or 4:00 pm

Cleanings do not happen every day, so we are looking for someone who is looking for less than part-time hour opportunities to make extra money to supplement their current primary income source.

The number of cleanings each month varies because cleanings are scheduled when our Guests check-out. Our Guests length of stays varies with each Guest so that determines the number of cleanings that there will be at each condo for each month.

The average number of cleanings for each condo is 4 cleanings per month but sometimes there are more, and sometimes there are less per month.

With the 2 condos combined the total average cleanings may be 8-12 cleanings total per month.

Please note that this is not a full time, or even a part time, job opportunity. This will be a good match for someone who is looking for occasional supplemental work to earn some extra income to add to their primary source of income.

We typically schedule 2 cleaners at $15 to $20 an hour each at every cleaning for shared cleanings, so we are assured that the condos will be cleaned and ready for our next Guests in time, and so our cleaners always have a teammate to work with to turn the condos around together.

We may offer solo cleanings at $25.00 an hour, when necessary, but only to cleaners that we have fully trained and who have demonstrated to us that they are able to follow our check-off list cleaning order and cleaning system. All cleaners, even with prior vacation rental cleaning experience, must be able to use and follow our cleaning system for shared, or solo cleanings.

Cleanings are done on the day the Guests check-out and so they do and can happen on any one of the 7 days of the week, so you must be available to clean any day of the week including Saturdays and Sundays. The history of which days of the week has more cleanings over all the years is that no certain day of the week has more cleanings sine the cleanings are evenly distributed throughout all 7 days of the week for your reference.

As soon as we have confirmed bookings at our condos, the cleaning appointments are sent to you for your confirmation via email & are listed on the calendar of cleaning appointments in chronological order, so you will have all cleaning dates in advance as soon as we know when we will have Guests checking out. Some Guests plan ahead and the cleaning appointments could be as far out as six months, or even a full year ahead on the appointment calendar. Most Guests typically plan out ahead of time 2 to 3 months in advance for their vacations. You will know your cleaning schedule as soon as we know it, so you can plan ahead for cleaning appointments.

We very rarely take bookings that are less than 7 days away for the cleaning as it does not give us enough time to properly screen our Guests, however, every once in a while, but very rarely, we do get & take a last minute booking which requires a cleaning to get added onto the schedule with the cleaning appointment to be just one week, or two weeks out.

Attention to detail is necessary. We will train you on to fold the towels & stage them in the bathrooms, how to make & stage the bed linens & décor pillows on the bed. The condos are staged identically each time for the next Guests arriving. We have Staging Photo Binders of how the condos are organized and staged for cleaners to refer to as you are learning where everything goes inside the condo, kitchen cabinets, and bathroom cabinets as well.

We provide the specific cleaning supplies we use at our condos on site at no cost to you, and we also loan you a small, light cleaning kit supply bag of specific cleaning rags, sponges, keys to cleaning supplies, etc., that you bring back with you each time to do cleanings. You are required to take your cleaning rags home to wash them thoroughly in a washing machine, and to dry them in a regular dryer (no line drying) so they are soft again when you return to do your next cleaning.
