Pet Care Professional Wanted (Dog Walker) (Portland)

Hello all you animal lovers! EC Petcare is looking for an additional Pet Care Professional to add to our small but busy team. EC Petcare is your bonded and insured, licensed, and local one stop pet service company located in beautiful Portland, OR. We believe the most important job we have in this business is to make sure the pet (and client) are happy, comfortable, stress free, and understood. This is more than just dog walking, training, pet sitting - we aim to create a peace of mind by making sure all pets are being cared for with the exceptional and individualized attention they deserve, in the comfort of their own home.

What I (Ellaree Cobb, owner) am looking for is to add someone to the team who meets this criteria:

Has worked with dogs before (volunteer work is fine too). I need someone with previous experience. Will not look at any emails that don't have any experience. Being a trainer, we work with a wide variety of dogs. You need to understand body language, signs of stress, stool complications, etc.

Outgoing, a people person - we need to make great impressions with the owners as well - communicative, punctual, detail oriented, efficient, caring, understanding, comfortable with all dog breeds

SELF SUFFICIENT. Able to manage your time, schedule, use a planner or phone calendar etc

Has a working vehicle/drivers license (we work all around the city, although public transportation is great here, if an emergency happens, we need to be able to take care of the animal)

I'm looking for a Dog Walker/Pet Sitter (in the client's home) . I need a back up for all my current clients so I can actually take a day off. We get new clients constantly, work keeps coming in. Walks are middays normally (10:30 am - 2 pm)

PLEASE NOTE: This is just extra income. Jobs are random. Would be great for someone who works from home, going to school, or has a night job.
