Hot Shot Owner Operators Needed

The Hotshot business is changing and we here at Lakefront Transport LLC are changing with it.

It is our goal to make you money and hopefully along the way make us a little.

After driving for years we use the following rule of thumb. If the truck can make 400.00 per day after fuel its been a good day. If the truck can make $500.00 or more per day after fuel its been a great day.

To make this happen we are adjusting our percentage to reflect what the load is paying. Please see the chart below.

Anything that pays over :

$1.56 per mile to us we get 25%.

$1.45 per mile to $1.55 per mile we get 20%.

$1.30 per mile - $1.44 per mile we get 15%,

Anything below $1.29 per mile we get 10%

It is our goal always to get you the best paying load avaliable but as we both know times are changing and freight is getting cheap. We all need to make money so this way it is in our best interest to find you the best paying load but if we cant we will reduce our rates so each of us can make a little. You will notice these rates are based on an average of 600 miles per day. We felt this was easily attainable for most trucks.

Load miles are based on mapquest miles from city to city.

We are looking to Lease on up to 5 Trucks. You can operate under our authority or yours.

We run all 48 states plus Alaska and Canada.

To operate under our authority you will need to:

Pay for your insurance on our policy. $1000 - $1500 Down Payment ( we have a payment plan for this)and $800- $1000 per month. Ins is taken out at 150.00 to 200.00 per load until paid. Normally by the last few loads in the month you will be ins free.

If over 26,000 lbs you will need to pay for your Apportioned plates. $500.00 to $650.00

Class A CDL

Sign an owner operator agreement.

To operate under your authority you will need:

Sign a Dispatch agreement with us.

Furnish us a copy of your ins with us as additional loss payee.
