Shop Coordinator (socorro texas)

Shop Coordinator needed to join our team!

This is an administration position - not mechanic

Must be able to complete a Pre/Post-trip for Class 8 tractors trailers (we will train you if needed)

Responsibilities:

Help document all aspects of the maintenance shop, equipment, and parts inventory

Document all aspects of heavy equipment repair, services, and general duties

Check and review work in process and follow-up for completion as scheduled

Review work orders and discuss work with in house mechanics/management

Other duties may be assigned

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or equivalent work experience

1-2 years in administration

Management/Supervisory experience preferred

Willingness to learn and grow within the role

Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus!

Knowledge/Skills

Good communication and listening skills

Friendly and positive demeanor

Demonstrating initiative with regards to responsibilities

Attention to detail, accuracy, and follow through

Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively

Ability to multi task and work in a fast paced environment

Very high paced position and needs a detailed oriented person that can multitask and keep up with state of the art software!
