Associate Manager/Manager, International Business DevelopmentHeadquarters, 1615 H Street, NW, Washington, District Of Columbia, United States of AmericaReq #190Monday, February 24, 2020POSITION OVERVIEW: As part of the International Division’s fundraising and sales team, support the senior-level executives in cultivating new corporate members for various international programs. Develop and implement an integrated sales plan to achieve revenue goals.RESPONSIBILITIES: · Serve as primary point of contact for nonmember companies interested in the work of the International Division. · Prepare key executives for member prospect meetings with briefings and support material. · Manage and coordinate the division’s fundraising efforts with other Chamber divisions. · Work with staff to ensure that member companies receive prompt, accurate, and thorough follow-up.· Submit invoices and provide timely acknowledgement of receipts. · Develop personal relationships with new member companies that provide for expansive, longer-term memberships.REQUIREMENTS: · Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years’ experience in fundraising, member relations, or sales.· Self-starter and able to work independently and as part of a team.· Demonstrated fundraising or sales success achieving significant revenue.· An interest in and an understanding of the Chamber’s work, particularly related to international policy and business development.· Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and verbal and written communications skills. · Strong organization, time management, and multitasking skills.· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.​ We recruit, employ, train, compensate, and promote without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, marital status, status as a protected veteran, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.
