General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable (East Providence)

Tahoe Jewelry Inc./ DBA John Medeiros Jewelry Collections is seeking a Bookkeeper to assist in managing their accounting department and finance requirements. Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills and accuracy are important qualifications for this position, as well as the ability to communicate clearly. The ideal candidate is independent, a skilled multi-tasker, reliable and committed to consistently meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Processing accounts receivable and accounts payable

Maintaining General Ledger

Enter journal entries

Bank reconciliations

Month-end closing

Inventory/ End of Year

Requirements:

MUST have experience with general ledger accounting principles

QuickBooks / Peachtree Software

Proficiency in Excel

Minimum of Associates Degree preferred
