OverviewTISTA is looking for a Pega Solutions Architect/SME to support Financial Services Center of our Federal client and lead PEGA Center of Excellence (CoE). The ideal candidate needs to have experience in designing and implementing BPM systems on a large scale while applying and contributing to enterprise standards, best practices, common components and methodology.In this position, your role as a PEGA SME will require you to be a strategic partner and thought leader for the customer organization.Responsibilities

Establish collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders and team members and guide them through the evaluation of Pega modules and their relevance and suitability for the organization

Establish and lead Pega CoE, set guidance, standards and practices needed for successful adoption of the tool

Plan and support strategic assessments and implementations tailored to fit the organizational need

Utilizing industry best practices; plan and execute custom coaching plan at the Portfolio, Program and Team level

Lead the coaching of multiple, distributed teams using Pega

Influence and advise at all levels of the organization to help implementing recommended changes

Work with strategic partners and stakeholders to implement cultural changes needed for successful transition and implementation

Assess the client’s organization and delivery environment and recommend optimal Pega solutions tailored to the client

Coordinate and assist with planning and execution of iterative releases driven by the program

Prepare and deliver progress metrics to internal and client teams using effective communication techniques

Perform analysis, design and change management, as needed by individual projects

Facilitate meetings and discussion as needed for diverse and senior groups of government stakeholders and multiple contractor subject matter experts

Responsible for creating/updating custom SAFe training material for clients as necessary

Assist with development of education & outreach materials and other external communications as directed by TISTA leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelors of Science

One or more following certifications:

Minimum of 10 years of work experience

5-8 years of progressive experience on BPM Methodology (Analysis, Design, Modeling, Executing, Monitoring, Optimization)

5-8 years of experience in design and development of enterprise application

Experience and certifications with Pega Systems required

Experience using Pega 7.0 systems, Java, J2EE, XML, SQL and Shell Scripting

Familiarity with Pega Warranty / Manufacturing Frameworks

Familiarity with Agile software development practices

Pega Experience in financial industry and certifications with Pega Systems is required

Excellent time management and organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities

Ability to think creatively and strategically with a focus on achieving outcomes

Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate, partner, and collaborate

Dedication to achieving outstanding customer results

A team-oriented drive and a demonstrated ability to lead by example

Experience in a customer–facing role, including comprehending business needs, and solving complex problems

Flexibility to work with teams, individuals and executives and willingness to help with a wide variety of work products and people

Excellent interpersonal/communication skills

Excellent writing skills and ability to produce polished written products

Expertise in Pega’s AI powered CRM Suite and knowledge of Pega Robotic Automation, Pega DevOps

Develop solution/approach presentations for enterprise initiatives, develop prototypes for proof of concepts

Develop long term solution for PEGA 508 compliance issues, Coordinate with PEGA technical supports for getting “patch” created for known bugs/issues

Clearance:

Ability to obtain Moderate Background Investigation (MBI) clearance
