Our search
As part of a telephony research project, we are looking for people with the ability to converse in English, specifically from the following heritages:
African-American Heritage
We are looking for people of all ages, social backgrounds and genders from all over the US. We aren't looking for perfect English, but how you speak day to day
Our project
Our goal is to capture various voices in normal telephone conversations on a variety of topics.
What you'll do
You'll engage in a telephone conversation with someone you know (friends, spouses, parents you choose!).
That's it!
Participants will record 30 minutes or 1 hour of audio.

Note 2: We are also looking for people of the following heritages:
Hispanic Heritage (need not be a Native English speaker)
Chinese Heritage (Cantonese, Mandarin, and Hokkien; need not be a Native English speaker)
