In this role, you must follow policy and procedure for all aspects of the Quality Control program production related quality control reviews. You'll be a collaborative member of the HLD Quality Control team and report directly to the Quality Control Risk Center Manager.Functions

Perform quality control reviews on single family residential loans for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and portfolio products. Some VA, FHA and/or RD reviews may be performed.

Stay up on product and investor guidelines, as well as regulatory and procedural changes, that might impact loan quality.

Demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and apply to designated job responsibilities knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keep up to date on regulation changes.

Follow all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and complete all required annual or job-specific training.

Demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations that apply to your position, and keep up to date on regulation changes.

Maintain working knowledge of our policies and procedures regarding the Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations that apply to your position

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Minimum of 3 years' experience in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac underwriting. Preferred 2 years underwriting experience in FHA, VA and RD underwriting. Preferred 1-years' experience in regulatory compliance.

Strong relationship management abilities, analytical and problem solving skills, and credit and credit quality skills.

In depth knowledge of consumer lending products, services, policies and procedures.

Proven track record of success and skills in project management, process development and procedural documentation.

Good auditing, credit analysis and quality control skills.

Demonstrated working in a cross-functional team and gaining consensus from multiple stakeholders.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage customer relationships.

Proficiency with personal computers and related software packages such as Word and Excel, and other business machines.
