Job Summary:This position will be responsible for the development and execution of the end to end growth strategy for Cigna's Individual Supplemental Health portfolio of products, including direct management of the product management and design team. Reporting directly to the President of Cigna Supplemental Benefits (CSB), this leader is responsible for driving the results of Individual Supplemental Health products, including executing on strategies for multiple market segments and distribution channels, including the employer worksite channel. This role will work cross-functionally to develop and execute on the strategy and the business goals. This includes, but is not limited to, partnering closely with distribution, marketing, operations, legal, compliance, and other functions across the segment and enterprise.Core Responsibilities:The candidate for this position will be responsible for driving a profitable growth strategy for Individual Supplemental Health products. Success will be achieved through strong, proactive partnerships with areas such as Sales Leadership, Marketing, Customer Experience, Underwriting, Information Technology and other leaders.Specific roles and responsibilities include the following:

Develops a detailed strategy and roadmap to grow Cigna's presence in the Supplemental Benefits space with Individual products, including product needs, operational enhancements, market differentiation, and potential acquisition strategies. Strategy will be developed in coordination with the Group Voluntary products organization, as well as the under 65, Individual and Family Plans (IFP) segment.

Manages the Indiv. Supplemental Health product development team and leads the new product design and development process.

Develops product pricing and packaging strategies that position the products competitively and allow us to derive the full value of our solution.

Serves as the Supplemental Health subject matter expert within the organization for all sales channels and segments.

Creates product launch plans and drives multi-functional groups to launch new products and/or new markets. Crafts product messaging, positioning and differentiation strategies, and effectively communicates value proposition and business value to key customers and the market.

Partners closely with distribution team to understand partner’s needs, as well as evaluates opportunities to develop customized solutions with key partners.

Evaluates inorganic opportunities to accelerate the Supplemental Health growth strategy.

Partners closely with IT and Operations to build out enrollment and servicing capabilities.

Participate in partner meetings, as well as client and producer forums, as required.

Ad hoc research and projects as needed.

Builds effective relationships with matrix partners.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelors Degree preferred

Product management experience

Knowledge of Supplemental Product space, including the worksite channel

Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, rapidly changing, team-based environment with a sense of urgency

Ability to facilitate and lead cross-functional teamsExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, and ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization

Ability to foster collaboration, value others perspectives, and gain support and buy-in for organizational proposalsStrong critical thinking, analytic and problem solving abilities

Ability to multi-task and prioritize job requirements

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detailCustomer facing and/or sales experience, finance/underwriting exposure and familiarity
