Air Systems Verification Mgr

Description: The Air System Verification Manager is responsible for leading a team of systems engineers in the development, planning and execution of all Air System verification activities across the F-35 enterprise. Ensures proper decomposition of system requirements into quantifiable verification requirements and pass criteria, acts as the chair of the Air System Technical Coordination Meeting (ASTCM), and manages team resources with an emphasis on continued development and retention of the specialized skill set required on the team.Will be responsible to establish and use metrics to measure system progress to performance, schedule, and financial objectives, ensuring maximum award fee payments.The position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary to interface effectively with all levels of Program Management, the JPO customer, and engineering IPTs.Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline Experience with the Systems Engineering Design and Verification Lifecycle Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Demonstrated experience focusing on continuous improvement, affordability and adaptabilityDesired Skills: Exceptional communication and expectation setting skills with LM and customer executive level personnel, colleagues and team members.
