Will apply information technology security principles and configure security settings for Windows Servers/Clients, PC Desktops, LAN management, and supported applications. Complete weekly system audits and conduct media reviews as directed by the lead program ISSO.Develop and implement government approved information security procedures and plans for the operation of multiple networked and standalone classified computers, and coordinate government agency approvals.Consult on the design, development, integration, and analysis of classified computing systems with the lead program ISSO. Conduct self-inspection reviews. Conduct comprehensive investigation of computer security incidents.Responsible for policy interpretation, ongoing guidance and direction to on-site personnel on IS Security issues, and participation in applicable Review Boards and Technical Exchange Meetings.With guidance from the lead program ISSO, will be responsible for systems security, testing and system accreditation activities.Will be required to interact with customer personnel on a regular basis regarding ongoing compliance and to coordinate system modifications.Basic Qualifications:Understanding of RMF/ICD 503/JSIG certification and accreditation processes for classified systems. Strong hands-on Windows computer system and networking knowledge. Ability to obtain customer required DoD 8570/8140 Security relevant certification (Security +, CISSP, etc.) within six months of hire date. Must have experience with the development, implementation, and maintenance of computer security plans.Desired Skills:Familiarity with all legacy Windows OS, Windows 7 & 10 (to include Secure Host Baseline (SHB)), Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012 and 2016, Group Policy administration, Network device support to include hardening and auditing, UNIX OS to include Solaris, and all Linux OS to include Red Hat systems security configurations. Should be familiar with encryption of data at rest. Familiar with auditing and cyber security support tools such as SPLUNK, Nessus, offline patch management and protection against insider threats. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively interface with numerous cognizant security agencies, customers and senior management. Knowledge of other security disciplines and how they impact and interact with information system security. Knowledge of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and the NSA configuration standards for DOD systems.Knowledge of government/contractor network interconnectivity arrangements.CISSP Certification Preferred; Information Assurance Officer (IAO) or ISSO experience.Self Starter, works well independently and in group settings.Strong interpersonal & communications skillsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
