System Integration and Test Engineer

Description: Lockheed Martin needs a System Integration and Test Engineer to lead, coordinate, and oversee the incorporation of our system onboard a First-of-Class Naval Platform in Cartagena, Spain. The candidate is needed to work in Cartagena, Spain for at least 20 months. The role will include working with our customer and the Spanish Navy to ensure successful planning and execution of tasks such as Setting to Work, Harbor Acceptance Trials, and Sea Acceptance Trials onboard the First-of-Class Naval platform. The role will require problem management including problem localization, problem tracking, problem reporting, and problem resolution. The candidate will facilitate communication between our customer, the Spanish Navy, and Lockheed Martin personnel in Manassas, Virginia.Basic Qualifications:- Experience working onboard Naval Platforms- Experience coordinating and performing system tests onboard Naval Platforms, including Set to Work, Harbor Acceptance Trials, and/or Sea Acceptance Trials- Strong written and verbal communication skills- Willingness and ability to live and work in Spain for 20+ months- Willingness and ability to go to sea onboard a First-of-Class Naval platform to perform at-sea testing- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security ClearanceDesired Skills:- Experience working with large Systems of Systems- Some competency with the Spanish language- Ability to troubleshoot software-intensive COTS-based systems- Ability to perform software installations on large systems- Competency with one or more of the following Engineering Disciplines - Systems, Software, Mechanical, Electrical- Current DoD Secret Security clearanceBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
