Description: Responsibilities include the planning, execution and management of General, Mechanical, Electrical and Environmental Services Contractors. Will work to procure external service contractors by requesting Purchase Requests using SAP. In this position, the candidate will be required to write the statement or scope of work for repairs or projects. In addition, they will be responsible to coordinate and manage outside service contractors during the execution of repair, remodel, or construction projects. Will be responsible to ensure that projects are constructed per scope while verifying engineering specifications throughout the project lifecycle. Identification and mitigation of any environmental or scope changes throughout the project. Will be accountable to address any safety concerns.Will require experience providing high quality customer service along with proven project management skills, Exhibits strong organizational and time management skills including ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor of science degree in engineering, construction management or similar discipline, or equivalent years of experience.- 5 years of project management experience in commercial construction and renovation project management.- Diversity of project experience including small and large projects.- Ability to read and execute engineering drawings and specifications.- Experience in managing contract performance of designers and contractors/subcontractors.- Proficient in MS Office software programs including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project.- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at once.- Track record of successful project budget control.- Basic understanding of laboratory, factory/manufacturing/assembly, and office space requirements.- Proven construction skills which includes managing and negotiating with general contractors and/or subcontractors.- Proficient knowledge and experience in the use of project management concepts to include: project schedule, scope, cost, risk and deliverables.- Ability to obtain a security clearanceDesired Skills:- Proven excellent verbal and written communications skills and including the ability to work effectively with customers, staff, management and diverse populations.- Demonstrated performance in a team environment showing a respect for others.- Knowledge of all applicable codes and regulations, including OSHA, ADA, state and municipal codes and regulations.- Execute projects to meet or exceed customer need dates.- Understanding equipment commissioning.- Extensive experience using MicroStation cad and RS Means software.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
