Work Shift: B Shift (United States of America)SUMMARY: This position is responsible for managing departmental goals: Safety, downtime, and budget. Primary responsibilities include: Supervise designated maintenance crew; train designated crew on safety and maintenance procedures as well as skills training; work with department to maintain repair and labor budgets through the use of MMS PM program; schedule maintenance crew and production work orders; completing work orders and preventative maintenance per schedule; responsible for logs and record keeping for assigned maintenance department; perform any additional assignments deemed appropriate; assure the proper maintenance and operation of all equipment throughout the plant. Must be able to work flexible shifts including days, nights and weekends. REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School diploma/GED. College classes or degree a plus. Experience: Three years Industrial Maintenance background in food processing industry with experience supervising team members preferred. Computer Skills: Basic computer knowledge. outlook and basic spreadsheet knowledge required. Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills. Supervisory: This position is responsible for supervising a group of personnel who perform somewhat identical and related tasks or activities. Travel: As needed.
