DescriptionDescriptionResponsible for managing compliance with policy and procedure standards, coordinating governance of policies and procedures withBusiness Unit leadership. Ensures that governing policies are appropriately disseminated throughout the organization. Responsible forprojects related to risk identified by the Business Unit and corporate risk, and effectively communicating and coordinating the impacts on Business Unit. Responsible for supporting CML Services leadership in integration of risk standards and expectations with Segment Risk and the Commercial Business Risk Office. Coordinates with leadership, Legal and Compliance to interpret risk impacts from identified gaps or regulatory changes, and coordinates with each affected department to ensure that appropriate policies and procedures are developed and that management has sufficient information on which to base decisions. May provide assistance with the coordination of internal and third party exams. Provides assistance with remediation and action plans. Coordinates with the relevant parties in the Business Unit to maintain and implement the Business Continuity Plan to ensure recovery time objectives are achieved in the event of plan activation. Oversees directly or supervises implementing, and providing direction in support of new or revised policies, procedures, integrations, technology and workflow support in coordination with the Leadership team. In partnership with the Business Unit, ensures the successful coordination and risk management of maintenance and vendor issues, and the vendor and non-vendor management programs. Provides technical expertise and judgment to implement and monitor modifications to processes in accordance with changes in the regulatory environment. Provides input and effectively communicates changes to the Risk & Control environment and RCSA Program.Regular duties include:

Process documentation - manage inventory of procedures, guidelines, job aids, and process maps - including frequency of review

Identify, track, and report on ERMS findings from Segment Risk, Audit or Exam, Control testing

Contribute or lead projects with respect to workflow and systems impacting risk management processes and control environment

Create and maintain various management reports and presentations

Analyze, evaluate, and oversee action plans relating to funds movement, compliance, access, and other controls

Partner with Segment Risk and the CML Business Risk Office on new risk initiatives or changes to existing process/protocol

Other duties include:

Assist or facilitate Audit or Exam management

Access reviews; evaluate and maintain role-based standards

Contribute to Risk and Control Self-Assessment, Business Risk Meetings and programs, Segment Risk Meetings, etc.

Vendor/non-vendor management, if applicable

Oversee the completion and approval process for PSRA’s as warranted

User Defined Tool management, if applicable

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree and 5 years experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years experience in a credit, risk or business/commercial role, with strong knowledge of commercial loan, deposit, funds and compliance processes

Minimum 5 years experience in a Commercial Banking customer-facing business line – preferably Middle Market, Specialty, Corporate Banking, and/or Commercial Real Estate

Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including grammar and demeanor, required

Confidence, assertiveness, professionalism, and ability to interact with all levels of the organization

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning, and follow-up

Excellence in customer service, highly motivated, focused, and goal oriented

Ability to work independently and in groups on multiple tasks without compromising quality

The position may require periodic travel throughout Huntington’s footprint
