Additionally, this position will support the analysis and modeling of the loan portfolio, developing forecast assumptions thru data analysis, perform profitability analysis of key segments, and assess strategic and tactical initiatives. This person will have the opportunity to collaborate with and support multiple functional areas across the business to project and deliver results, while influencing business strategies.Specific responsibilities include: Assist with developing the near-term and long-term business planning assumptions and pro forma financial statements – coordinate with functional heads (Marketing, Sales, Product, Risk, Operations, Analytics teams) Provide insights and input into the annual plans and monthly forecasts for loan volume, revenue, fees, losses, loss provision, and operating expenses. Research and review portfolio activity in order to measure and map asset performance. Identify trends to support forecast assumptions, model inputs and perform attribution analysis. Provide meaningful daily, weekly, monthly analysis of trends vs. expectations. Partner with Marketing team to develop marketing channel P&Ls to support management initiatives, incremental spend opportunities and facilitate decision-making. Liaise closely with Risk, Accounting Policy, Credit Controllership, Legal and Compliance to ensure integrity and alignment around financial processes and controls. Maintain, update and enhance financial operating models. Partner with Credit Finance team to envision, define, and drive opportunities for technology and process improvements while ensuring team responsibilities are balanced efficiently and well controlled.Capabilities - Applicants should have the following capabilities: Strong data analysis skills, but also synthesize the big picture by identifying connections and relationships in data. Relentless attention to detail and accuracy.Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (or related field). MBA, CFA, CPA are a plus.

7-10 years of progressive finance/accounting career experience (corporate finance, FP&A, consulting, investment banking, fixed income, private equity, or public accounting) and a proven track record

Computer savvy with advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially with Excel and PowerPoint (VBA experience a plus)

Strong experience with financial modeling, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analysis.

Comfortable working with large data sets (proficiency with SQL a plus)

Experience working in the financial services or banking industry a strong plus.

Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP (specifically loan accounting a plus)
