ROLE SUMMARYSchedule and plan activities critical to support clinical and commercial operations. Provides leadership in strategic planning for movement of materials to identified offsite warehouse locations and ensuring that all materials are inspected/released on the need by date within the Sanford warehouse to maintain all production schedules.Maintain timely and accurate knowledge of warehouse inventory levels for all operations and plan accordingly to identify when material is needed at the Sanford site. Issue accurate reports and recommendations for site management's appraisal of operations performance.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIESThis role will be responsible for the following activities, as assigned:Provide leadership in strategic planning for movement of materials to identified offsite warehouse locations. Monitor raw material inventory and materials needed in the production area. In addition, ensure that all materials are inspected/released by the production need by date and are available at the Sanford warehouse to maintain all production schedules.Provide sample management support by scheduling and planning all raw material sampling shipments to contract labs for needed release testing. Work with a team to resolve outstanding sample issues for operations. Coordinate testing and release activities with site supply chain, production, and quality assurance in support of material release.Maintain/create all purchase orders with each of the contract labs. Facilitate priority scheduling and need by dates to each of the contract labs based on the needs of all production teams.Work with the warehouse on storage requirements (e.g., capacity analysis) as well as warehouse material enrollment assessments within the quality tracking system.Execute material inspections per production material release specifications. This may include communication with external vendors to acquire needed information. Track all activity (via Excel) related to the sampling and inspection of all materials received at the Sanford site. Held accountable for the sampling and inspection metrics agreed upon with the site supply chain and quality assurance departments to support the release of all materials at the Sanford site.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

BS degree with at least 3-5 years of experience or an AAS degree with at least 5-7 years of experience or a high school diploma with at least 10-13 years of experience related to Supply Chain/ Supply Chain Logistics

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with ERP/SAP systems and forecasting of pharmaceutical materials

cGMP experience

Experienced with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) products
