Your OpportunityCharles Schwab’s Corporate Vendor Management group oversees Schwab’s relationships with third-party service providers. The group is responsible for all aspects of vendor management, including sourcing, risk assessment, contracting, onboarding, monitoring and offboarding. The team strives to act as trusted, strategic advisors to business leaders across Schwab, by helping them work with third-parties in a way that successfully balances their needs, risk and cost. As the firm’s outsourcing needs have increased in volume and complexity, this team’s responsibilities have also grown over time.Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Corporate Vendor Management, this Managing Director will be the organization’s primary liaison for audits and regulatory examinations related to vendor management. In addition to directly handling CVM’s participation in these exams, the Managing Director will lead cross-team projects to address issues resulting from them. This role will work in a highly reciprocal team setting, establish relationships with a wide range of partners at all levels of the organization, and interface routinely with outside regulators.What you’ll gain:

Collaborating successfully with SMEs from all over Schwab
What you have
10+ years of full time work experience, including 5+ years of work experience in regulatory exam or audit management
Superior analytical skills and creativity in problem solving
Strong attention to detail and ability to see downstream impacts
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with demonstrated ability developing materials and effectively addressing senior audiences
Comfort dealing with ambiguity in a dynamic and fast-moving work environment
Exceptional ability to build mutually effective partnerships
Expert user of PowerPoint and Excel
