The team is responsible for designing the future data environment, defining data governance and oversight, and partnering with technology to operate the data infrastructure for the company. This team also provides next generation analytic insights to drive business strategies and help meet our commitment to satisfy our customers’ financial needs.The Data Management Solutions (DMS) organization within Data Management & Insight (DMI) provides holistic and consistent data management capabilities to Wells Fargo. This includes Data Management, Data Quality Monitoring, Metadata Management, Data Lake Management, and Master/Reference Data Management.The Report Mapping & Issue Identification (RMII) Business Capabilities team provides oversight for the RMII application system, prioritizing and incorporating business needs for sustainability and efficiency. This Data Management Consultant role will partner with RMII users and stakeholders to develop requirements and test solutions, in partnership with enterprise and technology organizations.Key Responsibilities:

Develop and lead programs, initiatives for data quality, governance, and metadata activities.

Develop tools and processes used to maintain a common, firm-wide data standard.

Analyze, assess and test data controls and data systems to ensure quality and risk compliance standards are met.

Define strategic requirements, roadmap, or direction for metadata capabilities.

Drive analysis and assessment approach during issue remediation life cycle.

Support and interact with various functions and LOBs on multi-domain remediation efforts.

Leverage domain expertise and data / business / process analysis to inform and support solution design.

Drive planning and coordination on low to medium sized remediation efforts, acting as central point of contact. May provide inputs into communication routines with stakeholders, business partners, and senior leaders.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: data management, data governance, data quality or data analysis

Desired Qualifications:

Advanced Microsoft Office skills

Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner

Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies: used in waterfall or Agile development projects

Risk and finance regulatory reporting experience

1+ year of SharePoint administration experience

2+ years of Metadata experience

User Acceptance Testing (UAT) experience

SQL experience

Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
