It all begins with you.Wells Fargo Technology sets IT strategy; enhances the design, development, and operations of our systems; optimizes the Wells Fargo infrastructure footprint; provides information security; and enables continuous banking access through in-store, online, ATM, and other channels to Wells Fargo’s more than 70 million global customers.An Information Security Engineer position is open within the Information and Cyber Security (ICS), Identity and Access Management (IAM) Governance and Oversight team to assist with Customer Security. This position will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of access controls within various lines of business that have customer facing activities. Other responsibilities include identifying emergent vulnerabilities, evaluating associated risks and threats, identifying security vulnerabilities and providing remediation alternatives to the lines of business and technology groups. Will serve as technical lead responsible for specific areas of computer security incident development/implementation of vulnerability mitigation strategies. Leads security risk assessments to ensure compliance with corporate security policies and adherence to best practices. Reviews the evaluation of vendor proposals, new and existing security designs, and emerging security technologies and systems. Serves as a high-level technical security resource on large-scale network and/or systems/applications issues.This position will support the IAM Organization in knowledge and alignment with Information and Cyber Security (ICS) and Identity and Access Management (IAM) organizations for access needs. Deliver process consistency across Wells Fargo Technology supporting Access Management initiatives Works with a variety complex applications and/or application initiatives. Utilizes a thorough understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs. Ensure authentication and access controls are consistent through the various customer facing lines of businesses. Works on the most complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of intangible factors. Assist with building sustainment reports to monitor enterprise compliance with policies. Experience reviewing and presenting metrics and reporting around fraudulent customer accounts and activity to various business leaders. Experience with mitigating risk and ensuring access controls around fraudulent accounts and activity. Build and maintain strong relationships within a variety of teams throughout the organization.Successful candidate will also work closely with the Information Security Management, Risk, and Enterprise Access Management team along with business lines and technology leadership across the enterprise in the execution of the WF strategies/objectives. Accordingly, critical success factors will include the ability to effectively engage in a matrixed organization, develop partnerships with many business and functional areas, and have a strong operational focus.Required Qualifications:

7+ years of information security applications and systems experience

7+ years of process design or improvement experience

7+ years of IAM (Identity and Access Management) experience

7+ years of operational risk, conduct risk or compliance domain experience

Desired Qualifications:

Advanced Information Security technical skills and understanding of information security practices and policies

Ability to manage complex issues and develop solutions

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change

Strong customer relationship management skills

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)

Knowledge and understanding of Information Technology governance risk and compliance processes such as; policies, control standards, risk management concepts, or information security

Experience working in a large enterprise environment

Knowledge and understanding of banking or financial services industry

Experience with technology related regulatory requirements and frameworks including: FFIEC, COBIT, COSO, NIST, ITIL

Knowledge and understanding of biometric authentication, digital authentication, authorization, fraud, or cybersecurity
