The team focuses on several key risk types, including conduct, credit, financial crimes, information security, interest rate, liquidity, market, model, operational, regulatory compliance, reputation, strategic, and technology risk. The group provides leadership, enhances communications, assists with problem identification and solutions, and shares best practices. In addition, the group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.The new Enterprise Risk Senior Officer position will lead the build out of Reputation Risk Oversight's (RRO) review and challenge function, as part of Independent Risk Management's (IRM) expanding role within the Company in Recovery and Resolution Programs in the US and Internationally. This role will also drive identified enhancements to RRO's oversight program for the Company's LIBOR Transition activities over 2020-2021. Both work programs form a critical element of the team's growing 2020 Oversight activities as Strategic Enterprise Risk Management (SERM) continues to build out an effective oversight framework.New Business As Usual oversight responsibilities include:

Recovery & Resolution Planning (RRP)

Act as the RRO's main point of contact within the IRM work stream for Recovery and Resolution Planning

Participate in the strategy, design, and execution of an effective oversight model for Legal Entity Governance and Recovery & Resolution Planning (RRP).

Lead the comprehensive review of the Company’s various Recovery and Resolution plans from a Reputation Risk perspective

Provide sound and credible challenge to the various Company Playbooks, Governance Mechanisms, and Recovery Options ensuring the appropriate identification and consideration of Reputation Risks

Support other on-going initiatives related to enhancing reputation risk management practices within the firm’s Recovery and Resolution Program

Support the coordination and enable the delivery of RRP IRM engagement in conjunction with other risk partners

Libor Transition

Act as main point of contact for the RRO’s Libor Transition activities

Manage the successful execution of the RRO LIBOR Transition work program as part of the broader framework of IRM activities

Work with LIBOR Transition Process Owners and Subject Matter Experts to consider, evaluate, and incorporate Reputation Risk assessments into the LIBOR Transition risk management activities

Participate in the Communication, Product Design, Legal Documentation, and Risk & Regulatory Work streams across the Company's LOBs to ensure the identification and consideration of any Reputation Risks within the LIBOR Transition Process

Location Preference is Charlotte, NC - may consider other Wells Fargo locationsRequired Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in risk management (includes compliance, financial crimes, operational risk, audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, IT systems security, business process management) or 10+ years of financial services industry experience, of which 7+ years must include direct experience in risk management

Desired Qualifications:

A BS/BA degree or higher

Audit experience

Project management experience

Ability to create dashboards and reporting

Ability to manage initiatives including: detailed planning, process management, and documentation

Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment

Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

Knowledge and understanding of recovery and resolution planning

Experience navigating through ambiguity
