We also have groups in credit risk, group risk, finance, marketing, human relations, and the Wholesale Chief Operating Office that support our businesses.This position is within the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Control Team, which is responsible for effective governance, design, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of risk and controls in CIB. The Business Risk & Control Officer will be tasked with addressing business rules around confidential information handling and controls, including "need to know" and related conduct and access management risks. The individual will be involved in an initiative to assess and develop a framework for fine-grain user access and entitlements, as part of a larger initiative related to market conduct risk. The individual will be responsible for partnering with Technology, Access Control teams, and the Business to implement proper entitlements for users across CIB, and execute upon the designed function once operating business as usual.Specific responsibilities include:

Assist in leading periodic meetings and handle communications to all stakeholders throughout the initiative in order to ensure leaders are informed, aware and able to provide concurrence and/or challenge to the direction of the program.

Help define and establish the program by developing an approach, scope, timeline and common templates for the definition and assessment criteria for business-specific user access risks across CIB.

Work with application owners, Enterprise Access Management leadership, and independent risk management (“IRM”), to help define risk based criteria to prioritize remediation of gaps based upon potential compliance, conduct, operational and reputational risks.

Assess business-specific risks in combinations and define the approach to assessing access to information within applications in CIB where relevant, to identify gaps in entitlement design, implementation and monitoring.

Team members support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.Required Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in risk management (includes compliance, financial crimes, operational risk, audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, IT systems security, business process management) or 7+ years of financial services industry experience, of which 5+ years must include direct experience in risk management

Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
