WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE

Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field (2 additional years’ experience may be accepted in lieu of degree)

5 years of directly relevant work experience

Experience with forecasting, buying/inventory planning and/or control processes

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentations

Ability to communicate and story tell complex concepts to a wide and diverse audience

Strong influencing skills, including experience collaborating with virtual teams to align and drive a unified agenda cross-functionally

Sound judgment to elevate strategic concerns to senior management in a timely and appropriate manner

High level of proficiency with MS Office, including Microsoft Word and Excel spreadsheets

Experience with SAP/APO, Cognos or other advanced planning systems is preferred

Experience with statistical forecasting tools and models

As a Senior Demand Planner within Demand and Supply Management (DSM), you will be responsible for developing and maintaining seasonal plans that accurately reflect consumer demand, from End to End Line Planning through Bookings. The information and analysis you develop will guide active collaboration among cross-functional team members (in both Global and Geography) to establish alignment on the demand plan, as well as inform line planning decisions. You will consistently analyze market and product trends to balance risk and opportunity, as well as incorporate these insights within forecasting techniques.You will figure out objective forecasts (at varying ranges of detail) based on merchandising assortment plans, statistical forecasting inputs, and historical trends. You will develop detailed demand and inventory plans in relationship to category revenue/profitability targets, as well as clearly articulate risks and opportunities within the plan. You will lead the planning processes to meet multi-season calendar timelines, ensure data integrity, and continually improve forecast accuracy.
