DescriptionThe Accreditation Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.ResponsibilitiesHumana's goal is to serve our members and the communities in which they live while helping them live better, healthier lives. The Accreditation Lead facilitates Humana's health plan quality accreditation for all states, markets and product lines. This role emphasizes quality assurance and a commitment to continuous quality enhancement.Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Supports the development and implementation of quality improvement interventions and audits and assists in resolving deficiencies that impact plan compliance to national accreditation standards.

Drives key quality improvement projects requiring the ability to work effectively in a matrix environment in order to receive needed data that reflects the overall achievement and maintenance of quality standards.

Works with operational areas on an in depth process to prepare for presentation to NCQA.

Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance.

Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision.

Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Care or a related field

8+ years of experience in Accreditation, Quality Improvement, Compliance, Risk Management

Demonstrated expertise in NCQA health plan accreditation and related processes

2+ years of project leadership experience

Prior work experience in the health solutions industry

Demonstrated success directing and leading teams as a Strategic Consultant, Manager or higher role.

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Demonstrated experience with continuous performance improvement principles

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration or a related field
