A water purification manufacturing company in Chaska, MN is looking to add an Account Manager to their team.
We are seeking candidates with technical backgrounds in the sciences or engineering to act as territory representatives. We are looking for a motivated individual to maintain & grow customer relationships and to drive growth with our water equipment, commodities, deionization services and maintenance services.
Our ideal candidate must have experience working closely with customers to come up with engineered solutions to water related problems. This individual will need to apply their own knowledge of the water industry.
Job Responsibilities
Effectively communicate with customers regarding all company capabilities.
Understand and explain the advantages of the technology utilized by the company.
Continually search for new customers that could benefit from one of our areas of expertise.
Work closely with Engineering, Service, Customer Service and Vendors.
Manage all account activity.
Monitor open orders.
Stay up to date on the latest product offerings.
Discover new product offerings that could be beneficial to the company.
Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum 3 years' experience in technical sales within the water treatment industry.
Bachelor of Science Degree, ideally in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering. Or a 4- year degree from an accredited university with relevant experience.
Ability to travel (primarily within your territory but potential for more)
Ability to be insured to drive a company vehicle.
Basic computer skills (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Communications skills

Validation knowledge
Autocad / P&ID's
Project management experience
Salary is 70k-85K/ with Commission & Bonus structure
