Key End-User Account Manager - Industrial Vegetation Management YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES As a Key End-User Account Manager for our Industrial Vegetation Management (IVM) organization, you will be responsible for developing and managing new digital service models to complement our chemistry by identifying and implementing service sales in key IVM & Forestry segments. You will build and maintain the relationships necessary to support the new digital lines of revenue generation with key end-user accounts. You will be responsible for key IVM End-User and Regional Distribution account management as assigned to drive yearly sales. In this role, you will launch new business opportunities within the Vegetation Management (VM) business, and train broader VM team members to accommodate new business needs.The primary responsibilities of this role, Key End-User Account Manager – Industrial Vegetation Management, are to:

Deliver on new digital service model opportunities across Bayer VM with an aspiration of significant revenue growth in the business by 2025;

Manage key account responsibilities for substantial chemistry revenue;

Be responsible for developing and managing annual business plan process including annual and monthly sales forecasting by product SKU, expense budgeting, monitoring and coordinating multiple incentive/competitive response programs with assigned accounts;

Coordinate with Regional/Area/Account Managers to support all account activities across the Vegetation Management business;

Be responsible for strategic and operational planning with Custom Blend facilities to support the business objectives and long-term direction;

Communicate and coordinate with other Bayer Crop Science and Environmental Science business and functional leads for the purpose of developing cooperative business approaches;

Ensure the full compliance with Bayer policies and management tools such as contract management systems for customer agreements;

Help develop and attract the best talent for the organization.

Bachelor’s Degree

10+ years relevant experience in agronomic industry sales, marketing, technology or related roles;

Experience in selling services to end-users and guiding service-based offer development based upon customer need identification;

Experience in managing and interpreting highly technical data and information;

Ability to develop, implement, and direct an operating budget for the assigned account;

Complete understanding of account P&Ls and what elements drive to increasing a large accounts impact on net income;

Strong analytical, influence and innovative negotiation skills; capable of building strategic relations;

Must have computer proficiency skills including standard software (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, database management).

Ability to coach, develop and lead a team of indirect sales management reports, and the ability to plan, manage and organize the completion of multiple projects simultaneously.

Fosters teamwork among the account team and other functional teams within Bayer VM;

Willingness and ability to travel >50% of the time;

Ability to travel to Mexico and Canada as needed;

Ability to pass driving record background check (i.e. moving violations, accidents, License suspension, etc.).

Geographic location East of the Mississippi River in the U.S.
