Lead Carpenter (Bloomington)

Searching all LEAD carpenters for mostly residential but commercial sites possible! We need a craftsman lead who can take direction from the Project Manager and give direction to the crews. A true self starter and leader. We pay well and expect you will kick ass in your position! The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, have great attention to detail, complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner, keep accurate records of hours and work performed, have an assortment of personal tools (hand tools), and maintain good relations with clients & co-workers.

Monday-Friday 8 am - 5 pm

Requirements:

Prior construction experience. (lead experience preferred!)

Valid Driver's License. (no exceptions…)

Reliable Transportation. (we expect you to make it to work on time)

Qualifications:

Respectful & positive attitude. (if you typically do not get along with someone who gives you direction, please do not apply…)

Ability to work independently and as a team player. (again your PM will provide direction to you and you will lead the crews. It's not rocket science)

Able to work in a fast-paced environment. (akawe have a time limit on jobs. Clients do not typically prefer for us to celebrate holiday after holiday with them)

Excellent problem-solving skills. (work with your PM and do some research of your own!)

Consistent attention to detail and accuracy. (we don't cut corners)

Able to determine priorities and manage multiple responsibilities. (be the leader of the project!)

Highly organized. (note taking is a great skill!)
