SUMMARYTo assist the Store Management in ensuring and maintaining Maximum Customer Care, accountable for the operation of the store insuring maximum sales and profitability through merchandising, inventory, expense control, human resources management, and managing operating costs and shrinkage.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivers superior guest service and ensure absolute customer satisfaction
Learns and uses the three E’s: Engagement, Educate, Empowerment
Assist in managing total store operating
Assure front end is providing customers with quick friendly service
Perishable department kept full and ready for business
Frozen/Dairy - ad items, display and milk case full at evening
Grocery displays - ads and red dots full
Backroom - neat and up to best practices standards
Assist in handling all associate issues
Assist in handling customer issues
Other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESDirectly supervises associates. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining Associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of organization.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.REASONING ABILITYAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
