Maintenance Mechanic

Job DescriptionKelly Services is now hiring an experienced Maintenance Mechanic for a premier company in Waxahachie! In this role you will:

Keep RTO, Thermoforming, Extrusion, Reclaim and Lid Line up and running during production hours.

Test and maintain gas detection system.

Adjust and maintain blending system.

Perform changeovers on extruders and thermoformers.

RequirementsRequired Qualifications:

Must have two (2) years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

Must have two (2) years of electrical experience working with up to 480 volts.

Must have two (2) years PLC, pneumatic and hydraulic systems experience.

Desired Qualifications:Demonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language in order to ensure effective new hire training and on-going communications about safety and quality issues.

Ability to recognize problems/issues and contribute suggested solutions.

Understand addition/subtraction/multiplication/division/fractions and decimals.

Minimal written skills.

Six (6) month forklift experience preferred.
