DescriptionWork Days and Expected Hours:Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm(Additional hours as necessary to meet the objectives of the department)Function: A Mortgage Loan Processor is responsible for accurately and efficiently processing and managing a pipeline of residential mortgage loans. Duties & Responsibilities:

Review residential mortgage applications and accurately prepare and provide initial and re-disclosure packages within the required 3 business days from application date or changed circumstance.

Update and verify accuracy of data input into Mortgagebot loan origination software.

Analyze loan-to-value ratio, debt-to-income, credit report, application, income, assets, source of down payment funds and examine supporting documentation to identify potential fraud or misrepresentation.

Order and follow up on all necessary documents to satisfy Desktop Underwriter Findings.

Obtain and verify clearance of any underwriting condition(s).

Review and verify documentation integrity to ensure it aligns with Desktop Underwriter Findings.

Monitor the overall lending process and identify, resolve and communicate any issue which could impact timely closure of the loan.

Prepare and deliver realtor, conditional commitment and final commitment letters to borrowers, settlement agents and realtors.

Stay current with all federal, state regulations, and policies, including all TRID requirements.

Assist in training of Mortgage Bankers, Mortgage Processing Specialists or any other mortgage department staff.

Maintain a professional attitude and working relationship with internal and external customers.

Work independently and as a team player to contribute to the success of the department and in turn the organization.

Perform additional duties as required.

Physical DemandsOperates a keypad device: 75% of the day; operated office equipment: 5% of the day. The primary parts of the body involved in performing these tasks are the fingers, thumbs, hands, wrists, elbows. The job requires an average amount of body movements. Sitting is required six or more hours per day in a leaning position. Requires the use of manual dexterity skills for both typing and filing on frequent basis up to 60% of the business day. Must be able to focus visually at a close distance of 18”-20” for a period of up to 40% of the business day. High School or better in Academic/General

ExperienceRequired

2-5 years: Two to five years business line related experience required, specialized mortgage, lending or loan and banking experience preferred.
