Must be familiar with System Z hardware and operating system.Must be able to work in a quick paced environmentMust be willing to learn quickly and work independently when necessary-Primary Responsibilities will include:

Build z/OS systems' for various levels of zOS, customize and maintain the system environments for multiple labs as assigned by Team lead

Support multiple environments that include multi-system sysplex's and monoplexs

Install Program Products as required by users in multiple environments.

Learn process to use problem databases and assist user with data collection including SYSLOG, SVC dumps , stand alone dumps, trace, etc

Basic Skills required, JCL, REXX, JES2, RACF, XES, HCD, DFSMS, SMP/E, TCP/IP, ISPF, SDSF

Knowledge of DB2, CICS, Websphere, IMS, MQ, and VM, are a plus

Document new processes and update current processes as needed
