Description: This position provides for inspections on space flight parts and assemblies at suppliers in Bloomington, Minnesota, with anticipated travel to other locations in the US. The candidate supports Supply Chain Quality (SCQ) activities and will report to the Eastern Region Source Acceptance Manager. This person will provide process review and lead continuous improvement within the organization with Lockheed Martin (LM) suppliers. They will be responsible to assist with the management of supplier corrective actions including root cause and corrective action, analyze internal SCQ metrics to develop and implement process improvement activities. They will represent Lockheed SCQ at supplier and customer interactions. They must be able to perform space flight inspections on electrical and mechanical assemblies at our supplier in Bloomington, MNBasic Qualifications:Experience in Institute of Printed Circuits (IPC) 600 requirements, printed wiring board manufacturing and inspections.Able to read and interpret Purchase Orders (POs), non conformance documentation and design requirements,Responsible for process verification and End Item Data Package (EIDP) reviewBackground in electrical inspection and soldering.Working knowledge of Procure To Pay (P2P) and SAP systems for PO's, Supplier approvals and Quality Notifications (QNote) (defect reports)Ability to work well with customers and suppliers.Experience working with aerospace suppliers certified to AS9100 (Aerospace Quality Management System).Works well independently as well as part of a teamDesired Skills:Experience in engineering drawings and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)Strong problem solving skills, and ability to think creativelyA detailed understanding of requirements flow-down and supplier process oversightA good working knowledge and understanding of Mission Success processesExperience in electrical and environmental testing for aerospace hardware.Demonstrated interpersonal skills, good oral and written communication skills and organization skillsBasic knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)/ Enterprise Product Data Management (EPDM) systems such as SAP.Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain or Quality AssuranceExperience in root cause / corrective action process and verification of efficiency of corrective actions.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
