New Mexico non-profit is looking for an experienced WordPress and MailChimp content manager with Social Media/online marketing skills to maintain regular content updates and publishing schedule to:
website (including news blog and calendar posts)
This person needs to work collaboratively between the organization’s point people and brand and web developer consultant team.
Qualified candidates must have:
3 years (min), experience with WordPress and MailChimp mobile templates & protocols; Excellent grammar, spelling and punctuation skills;
Understanding of basic SEO practices, (file naming, excerpts, tags);
Experience with Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube account tools and online protocols Experience with MicrosoftOffice: (Word, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint apps);
Basic Photoshop experience:
for website and enews content prep, (i.e., image optimization, cropping, file sizing & image library mgmt.)
Online research proficiency with News feeds and Tech support.
Database/spreadsheet input and file exporting experience
(in Excel and donor management platform, eg., Bloomerang).
Preference to additional skills in:
iPhone photography and video capture skills;
Graphic design talent, with Adobe Creative Suite proficiency;

This is a contract position with a commitment initially of 12-15 hours a week and is offered at $30 an hour. Only applications from New Mexico residents will be considered at this time. Telecommute work is assumed, but in-person and Zoom/Skype team meeting participation will be expected. Attendance at related public or state legislature meetings will be coordinated on an individual case basis.
