Position Summary: The Technical Recruiter serves as a strategic partner to our IT team by developing, implementing, and executing a multitude of talent acquisition strategies. You will have the opportunity to forge dynamic relationships with business leaders, hiring manages and HR business partners. You will perform candidate generation, client/account management, prioritize your time in an extremely fast-paced environment, push back when needed, and provide amazing customer service. Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for full lifecycle technical recruitment, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience that represents our RBS culture.
- Foster an inclusive process and workplace .
- Partner closely with hiring managers to define open positions, develop candidate attraction strategies, and vet job requirements.
- Develop and implement innovative recruiting strategies to meet the hiring goals for hard to fill and highly specialized positions.
- Build and maintain a steady network of highly qualified active and passive candidates through proactive market research and on-going relationship management; conduct in-depth interviews of potential candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high interview-to-offer ratios.
- Interview candidates within the framework of the position specification. Screen, interview and prepare a balance slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline.
- Recruit passive candidates and gauge chemistry of candidates for fit and motivation.
- Identify high-potential candidates and conduct initial interviews of top candidates to present to hiring managers and review for future roles
- Drive offer process - including extending offers, negotiations, closing candidates and cultivate a superior candidate experience for each candidate that you engage with throughout the process
- Collaborate with other recruiters and HR Business Partners on recruitment strategies and internal processes
- Recommend ideas on topics like new recruitment tools, candidate engagement strategies, brand marketing, search/sourcing resources and strategies, and interview process
- Drive branding to build external community and network
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the roles and functions you support, offering data and guidance to support compensation analysis and negotiation.
- Mentor recruiters and/or coordinators
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3 + years of Technical/IT Recruiting experience in technical industry for IT skilled talent (Cloud, Big Data, .Net, Web, UI/UX, SAP, CRM, J2EE, Oracle Applications, Enterprise Data Warehouse, Database, Application Servers, Reporting, ERP/CRM, Quality Assurance, Infrastructure, Agile, Mobile, Security, Identity, etc.) for various jobs/titles (Architects, Designers, Developers, DBA's, Software Engineers, Mobile Applications, Mobile Engineers, Master Data Management and POS Technicians.)
- Strong knowledge of full lifecycle recruiting processes, IT sourcing strategies and state and federal laws and regulations regarding recruitment. Experience with the employment of foreign nationals preferred.
- Strong customer service, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage a high volume of requisitions
- Proficient in Office software (Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Strong ability to review and understand I.T. Requirements to identify highly qualified candidates and explain job descriptions/responsibilities
- Expert ability to work within a variety of recruiting tools, such as the ATS, while maintaining a focus on accuracy, timely entry, and overall data integrity.
